From the Arai website comes this statement about safety:  “At Arai, safety standards such as Snell and DOT are our starting point, not our end goal. Standards are important and set minimum criteria, but while some may design their helmets to meet those minimums, “good enough” has never been good enough around here”

If you’ve ever had trouble fitting to a Bell or other brand, you’ll find that Arai uses a different head shape that is perfect for many racers.

Features and Benefits

• It has a smaller, more “natural” head shape, and a lower center of gravity to balance and stabilize the helmet so it feels even lighter, thereby helping to reduce fatigue
• The interior fit is typical Arai, benefitting from over 50 years of research and refinement, and resulting in a helmet that, as mentioned previously, more closely matches the shape of the human head. The fit is snug, allowing for the smallest possible helmet to be worn while still being comfortable
• The cheek pads are removable and washable for easier cleaning. More importantly, they’re replaceable with optional sizes of varying thicknesses for a more custom, personalized fit
• The upper ventilation system incorporates two large intake ducts and the same two exhaust vent ducts found on the GP-5(PED). This vent system allows for improved air flow even within the confines of a sedan or closed cockpit

In the box with the helmet is a draw string helmet bag.

Sizes Medium, Large and Extra Large (small available on special order). Note that Arai helmets fit very snuggly and some feel they are too tight until they have been worn for a few times.
