Time to go Endurance Racing

For the 28th year we’ll be at Portland International Raceway for the Cascade Sports Car Club 2 and 6 hour endurance races on October 19 and the following week we’ll be right back at PIR for the ChumpCar race.  From experience I can tell you that most endurance race teams use radios and we are constantly asked to help drivers get their microphones set up for the radio harness that is installed in the car.  There are two types of plugs, IMSA or 4 channel and NASCAR or 3 channel.  One is not better than another, they are just different.  If you are in need of a microphone, ask the team what harness is in the car so you’ll know what kind of plug to get on your mic. We do have adapters to go from one type to another but it is better if you have the right microphone to begin with.

You’ll also need ear buds and I don’t want you to be surprised when you find they are about $100.  They are a necessity so be aware of the cost and then give us a call and we can hook you up before you get to the track.  At endurance races, radio parts sell out fast and we have a limited quantity on hand.  So order today and be ready to go racing.
